Hey! So Glad You're Here.
Although I retired a few years ago, I am still receiving questions and concerns from both the adult child and the senior adult about how to face and negotiate the aging years. It is indeed an ongoing process!

Afterall, no one experiences this stage of life….until it hits you right between the eyes! Sometimes without you even noticing the silent but provocative steps of age creeping up behind you ever so quietly. Even if we helped our parents and we are experiencing our own senior years, things change, and new issues emerge. Questions remain.
So, I thought I would try to “get the word out” through this blog. Hopefully, this will help folks as we continue down this path. We all will, at one point or another. It is not an easy one, let’s be honest. But that doesn’t mean it has to be difficult. I encourage you to reach out to friends and professionals as you need assistance, a shoulder to cry on, a day off or just a chat. I hope you will see this blog as just that …. assistance, a day off, and helpful information.

You will find directions, tips, ideas, an occasional recipe, stories, suggestions, observations, and some venting here and there as well. Some information I have pulled from my book, Unwrapping the Sandwich Generation, and some from various articles I have written.

Now, pull up a chair, have a cup of tea and enjoy.
Happy aging!
Sue
